New Delhi: Meta India issued an apology on Wednesday following an inadvertent remark by CEO Mark Zuckerberg suggesting that India's incumbent government lost power in the 2024 elections.
Terming it an "unintentional terror," the company clarified that the statement did not reflect its stance.
Earlier, chairman of the House panel on Communication and Information Technology Nishikant Dubey had said that social media giant Meta is set to receive a summons from the Parliamentary Standing Committee regarding Zuckerberg's statement.
