Mohali: A Twitter user named Shruti #100 is grabbing all the attention of Indian Cricket fans on the micro-blogging site after she exactly predicts Virat Kohli’s score in his hundredth test match, his mode of dismissal, and the star batsman’s reaction to his dismissal.

The user in a tweet that was posted at 12:46 am on March 4 – nearly nine hours before Kohli’s milestone Test match began, said Kohli will not score his hugely awaited 71st century in his 100th Test and will fall after scoring 45 runs.

Not only his score, the user also predicted that Sri Lankan spinner Embuldeniya will knock his stumps over and Kohli will “pretend” to be shocked at his dismissal before nodding his head in dismissal.

On Friday, playing his 100th Test match, Kohli fell exactly on the score predicted by the user, was dismissed in a similar fashion as described in the tweet, and was also shocked at his dismissal.

However, the user had mentioned Kohli would score four “gorgeous cover drives” and would face 100 deliveries before being dismissed. The two predictions did not come through as Kohli was dismissed on his 76th delivery and had scored five boundaries across parts of the ground.

Reacting to the prediction, former India cricketer Virender Sehwag replied with “Wow!!!” while other fans were amused at the similarities in the prediction that was done nine hours before the game began.

A few users also claimed that the user in question had duped the tweet and used software to pre-date the tweet, which it claimed can be done by good technicians who know the software well.

Pathanamthitta(Kerala) (PTI): A Kerala court on Wednesday granted bail to expelled Congress MLA Rahul Mamkootathil in the third sexual assault case against him, in which he was arrested earlier this month.

The bail was granted by the Pathanamthitta District Sessions Court, which was considering an appeal filed by the MLA against a judicial magistrate's court that had denied him relief, stating that the allegations against him were serious and that he had "similar antecedents".

The third sexual assault case was registered against the Palakkad MLA under Sections 376 (rape) and 506(1) (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), following a complaint lodged by a woman from Kottayam district on 8 January. He was arrested in the case on January 11 in Palakkad.

The Kerala High Court and a sessions court in Thiruvananthapuram had earlier protected the MLA from arrest in the first two sexual assault cases, which were registered based on complaints from two different women.
