New Delhi: In what has become a regular thing on micro-blogging site Twitter, users on Sunday continued slamming Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government for mishandling COVID-19.
Users on Sunday tweeted out their frustration and exasperation with hashtag #ModiAgainstNation and called out on his mismanagement of the COVID crisis. The campaign was soon among the top-three trends of the micro-blogging site in India with over 30,000 tweets at the time of posting of this report.
The users also called out on Modi and blamed him for organizing and participating in political rallies during election campaigns when his primary job was to help the country in the COVID crisis. Some of the users also highlighted his failure in other fronts like Economy, Unemployment, and others.
Several users also lauded how former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh was steering the country and its economy during his regime. They also regretted having Modi elected over Singh in the 2014 general elections.
