New Delhi: Former England Cricketer Andrew Flintoff on Saturday trolled Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan over his nearly five-year-old tweet wherein the all-rounder had compared Virat Kohli to England’s Joe Root.
In the first tweet on March 27, 2016, Flintoff had said Indian Skipper Virat Kohli will one day be as good as English Skipper Joe Root. Replying to his tweet on the same day Amitabh had asked who Joe Root was adding that Indians will ‘Uproot Joe Root’.
Amitabh had written "@flintoff11 @imVkohli @root66 @englandcricket Root who ? जड़ से उखाड़ देंगे Root ko ..!!!"
On Saturday when Joe Root who is leading the English team that is touring India for four test match series scored a double century in the first inning of the first test match in Chennai, Flintoff went back to recall his tweet and wrote: “With the greatest respect , this aged well”. (SIC)
At this rate @imVkohli will be as good as @root66 one day ! Not sure who @englandcricket will meet in the final now !
