GT defeat DC by 10 wickets, qualify for the playoffs along with RCB and PBKS
New Delhi, May 18 (PTI): Gujarat Titans qualified for the IPL Playoffs with a commanding 10-wicket win over Delhi Capitals here on Sunday.
Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who are both on 17 points after 12 matches, also qualified for the knockout stages.
For GT, opener Sai Sudharsan (108 not out off 61 balls) and skipper Shubman Gill (93 not out off 53 deliveries) chased down the 200-run target with six balls to spare.
Earlier, invited to bat, opener KL Rahul displayed great intent on a slow and grippy wicket to score his fifth IPL century as Delhi Capitals scored 199 for 3.
Rahul scored a 65-ball unbeaten 112.

Illegally stored gas cylinders seized
Thane (PTI): Authorities have seized illegally stored 1,839 gas cylinders and seven vehicles worth over Rs 67 lakh in the Dombivli MIDC area of Thane district, officials said on Saturday.
A special vigilance team of the Mumbai Rationing Department detected an illegal storage of domestic and commercial LPG cylinders in Phase-2 of Dombivli (East).
Cylinders belonging to multiple gas agencies were found stockpiled in closed vehicles, unauthorised warehouses, and open sheds without mandatory permissions from the Explosives Department, Fire Department, or oil companies, according to an official release.
