The curiosity and long-standing mystery surrounding a 2019 photograph featuring several prominent Indian cricketers, has finally been solved after four years. The photograph, which included MS Dhoni, Jasprit Bumrah, Mayank Agarwal, Rishabh Pant, and Hardik Pandya, had garnered considerable attention on social media due to an intriguing detail.

Posted on Hardik Pandya's social media account with the caption "Boys' day out," the image captured the five cricketers in a jovial moment. However, what piqued the curiosity of fans was the presence of an unidentified hand resting on Rishabh Pant's shoulders.

The photograph, shared on July 4, 2019 just two days before India's victory over Bangladesh in Birmingham and shortly after a win against Sri Lanka in Leeds, quickly became a viral sensation. Internet users embarked on a quest to decipher the mystery behind the elusive hand, prompting numerous speculations.

While Dhoni's hands were clearly visible, and Bumrah's left hand rested on MS Dhoni's shoulders, the identity of the hand on Pant's shoulders remained elusive.

Finally, after years of speculation and countless debates, Mayank Agarwal himself put an end to the suspense. Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Agarwal confirmed that it was his hand on Rishabh Pant's shoulder. He humorously wrote, "After years of extensive research, debates, and countless conspiracy theories, let the nation finally know: It is MY hand on @RishabhPant17's shoulder. PS: Any and all other claims are misleading and not true."

New York/Washington, May 7 (PTI): US President Donald Trump on Tuesday said India has “agreed” to drop its high tariffs “to nothing”.

“I mean, India as an example, has one of the highest tariffs in the world. We’re not going to put up with that, and they’ve agreed already to drop it. They’ll drop it to nothing. They’ve already agreed. They would have never done that for anybody else but me,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.

Trump and visiting Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney spoke to reporters as they met in the Oval Office to discuss the US-Canada trade.

“So we’re going to put down some numbers and we’re going to say our country is open for business and they’re going to come in and they’re going to pay for the privilege of being able to shop in the United States of America. It’s very simple. It’s very simple,” he added.

In the past, Trump has called India “tariff king” and a “big abuser”.

Last month, Trump had said that negotiations with India over a bilateral trade deal are “coming along great” and he thinks “we’ll have a deal with India”.
