Suresh Raina's father passes away after losing battle to cancer
New Delhi, Feb 6: Trilokchand Raina, father of former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina, died on Sunday following a prolonged illness.
"He was battling with cancer for the last one year," a source told PTI.
Raina's teammates including Harbhajan Singh offered their condolences on social media.
"Very sad to hear Suresh Raina's father @ImRaina RIP uncle ji," wrote Harbhajan.
Raina, 35, played 18 Tests, 226 ODIs and 78 T20s for India.

22-year-old rider killed on spot, one grievously injured in head-on collision of bikes in Bidar
Bidar: A 22-year-old rider, Mahesh, died on the spot while another was grievously injured in a head-on collision between motorbikes near Basava Nagar in Bhalki taluk on Saturday night.
The deceased, Mahesh, was a resident of Kuntesirsi village in Bhalki taluk. The second rider, Vivekananda (36), who is a resident of Navadgi village, is being treated at a hospital in Bidar.
Mahesh was reportedly riding from Bhalki to Kuntesirsi when his bike collided head-on with Vivekananda’s bike. Mahesh died on the spot due to the intensity of the collision.
A case has been registered at the Bhalki Town Police Station and the officers are probing the incident.
