Doha: The US football team held back England at the FIFA World Cup 2022 in a Group B match here on Saturday.
In a high intensity but goalless match at the Al Bayt Stadium in Doha, the US team put up a spirited performance against the English team, reports NDTV.
While both teams had multiple openings, Christian Pulisic of the US team hit the crossbar at the 32nd minute. Harry Kane of England too made a few attempts to get a goal.
England will enter the next round if they avoid defeat against Wales in the final game of the group.

One person questioned in Saif Ali Khan attack case
Mumbai: Mumbai Police brought a person to the Bandra police station on Friday for questioning, over 30 hours after an alleged attack on actor Saif Ali Khan at his apartment in the ‘Satguru Sharan’ building.
According to officials, the police formed 20 teams and utilised their network of informers to locate and arrest the suspect.
The crime branch and local police are also analysing technical data, including the number of active mobile phones in the area during the incident, which is being investigated as a “burglary attempt.”
