Hyderabad, May 5:Chasing 164, Hales and Dhawan got them off to an electric start in the Powerplay. They added 76 for the opening wicket and that very much set the tone for the chase. Amit Mishra, the experienced campaigner then removed both of them to somewhat gain the momentum back in their favor.

Kane Williamson stepped in and looked positive from the start. He along with Manish Pandey motored along well but a few tight overs towards the end, spiced up the required rate. That led to a wicket of the latter and it seemed like the hosts would crumble under pressure. They almost did but Yusuf Pathan, through his play made Delhi pay big time. He played the striker role to his skipper as the duo strung 32 off 16 balls to take their team over the line to extend their winning streak to 4 wins in a row.

Hyderabad made a statement and gave it to all those out there who feel they aren't good while chasing. They have done it here tonight in a great manner and need to be praised for their effort.

The Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) Court, Bhubaneswar also imposed a fine of Rs 32,000 on each of the convicts.

According to a statement issued by the Special Task Force (STF) of the Odisha Police, the convicts were identified as Pritam Kar and Soumya Ranjan Pattanaik from Jajpur, Pathani Samanta Lenka, Saroj Kumar Nayak and Pradyumna Sahu from Nayagarh in Odisha, Abhijit Sanjay from Pune, and Iqbal Hussain from Guwahati.

"Two accused from outside the state played a key role in coordinating with a Pakistani agent. They were involved in activities that could adversely affect the internal security of the country," an STF officer said.

The officer said the Odisha Police had sought assistance from INTERPOL in connection with the case, but no information was shared by the Pakistani authorities.

During raids, police seized several incriminating materials from the accused, including 19 high-end mobile phones, 47 pre-activated SIM cards, 61 ATM cards, 23 SIM card covers and a laptop, the statement added.
