Yuzvendra Chahal's 4/24 inspires Punjab Kings to 16-run win over KKR in IPL thriller
Mullanpur, Apr 15 (PTI): Yuzvendra Chahal led a stunning comeback for Punjab Kings with brilliant figures of 4/28 as the hosts defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 16 runs in a low-scoring Indian Premier League thriller here on Tuesday.
After restricting PBKS for 111 inside 16 overs, KKR looked set for a comfortable win reaching 60 for two in seven overs.
Chahal then ran through KKR middle-order to hand Punjab an unlikely but thrilling win as KKR were all out for 95 in 15.1 overs.
Earlier, Punjab Kings collapsed from 39 for no loss to 111 all out in 15.3 overs with Harshit Rana taking 3/25 while Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine claiming two wickets apiece.
Priyansh Arya (22) and Prabhsimran Singh (30) fired at the top but the hosts suffered a collapse to be bowled out for 111 for the second lowest score among all teams this season.

MI win by 100 runs to end RR's playoffs hopes
Jaipur, May 1 (PTI): Mumbai Indians crushed Rajasthan Royals by 100 runs to end the home team's playoffs hopes in the Indian Premier League here on Thursday.
Batting first, MI scored 217 for two. In reply, RR were all out for 117 in 16.1 overs as MI closed in on securing a playoffs berth.
MI rode on brisk half-centuries from Rohit Sharma (53 off 36 balls) and Ryan Rickelton (61 off 38) to post a formidable total.
Skipper Hardik Pandya (48 off 23 balls) and Suryakumar Yadav (48 off 23) gave finishing touches to MI's innings with their whirlwind knocks.
The likes of Jasprit Bumrah (2/15) and Trent Boult (3/28) then rattled the RR batting before leg-spinner Karn Sharma (3/23) wrapped up a big win for the visitors.
Wonder boy Vaibhav Suryavanshi was dismissed by Deepak Chahar for a two-ball duck.
