1-year-old girl, pregnant mother killed in Israel air strike on Gaza
Gaza City:A pregnant mother and her 14-month-old baby girl have been killed by an Israeliairstrike, as cross-border violence continues near Gaza.
Palestinian militants fired over 200 rockets into Israel on Saturday on a second day of fighting. Israel responded with dozens of retaliatory airstrikes and tank shelling on at least 30 different militant targets.
Gazan civilians fled the strikes, as Israelis ran to air-raid shelters. The Gaza Health Ministry said the baby girl, Seba Abu Arar, was killed when an Israeli airstrike hit her home in east Gaza City.

US Consulate in Dubai reportedly attacked
Dubai: Smoke was seen rising from an area near the United States Consulate in Dubai, according to witness accounts cited by Reuters.
There was no immediate official confirmation on the extent of damage or whether there were any casualties in the incident.
Earlier, the US embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, was also attacked. Authorities reported damage to the premises, but no casualties were recorded.
The developments come amid heightened tensions in the region, with Iran continuing to target US interests in the Middle East following deadly attacks launched on Saturday by Israel and the United States.
