Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed wins Nobel Peace Prize
Oslo: Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed was on Friday awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to resolve his country's conflict with bitter foe Eritrea, the Nobel Committee said.
Abiy was honoured "for his efforts to achieve peace and international cooperation, and in particular for his decisive initiative to resolve the border conflict with neighbouring Eritrea," the jury said.

US Embassy advises Americans to reconsider Hajj travel
Riyadh: The United States Embassy in Saudi Arabia has advised American citizens to reconsider travel to the country, including participation in the annual Hajj pilgrimage, amid the ongoing regional conflict.
In a travel advisory, the embassy urged US nationals to exercise caution and review their plans in light of the current security situation.
It specifically advised Americans to reconsider “participation in Hajj this year” to the holy city of Mecca.
