Orem, Utah: The FBI has released surveillance images of a person of interest in the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was killed Wednesday during a campus event at Utah Valley University.

Authorities say the shooter accessed a rooftop overlooking the outdoor event and fired a single round from a high-powered bolt-action rifle, striking Kirk in the neck. The attacker then jumped from the roof and fled into a nearby neighborhood.

The suspect, believed to be college-aged, wore a black top featuring a bald eagle and U.S. flag, dark sunglasses, and a baseball cap. The FBI is asking for public assistance in identifying the individual.

The rifle was recovered in a wooded area near the campus, and investigators are analyzing palm prints, footprints, and engraved ammunition found at the scene.

Kirk, 31, was a key figure in youth conservative politics and a close ally of former President Donald Trump, who announced Kirk will be posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

The killing has sparked bipartisan condemnation and renewed concerns over political violence in the U.S.

Madrid (AP): Jude Bellingham appeared to injure his left hamstring and had to be replaced 10 minutes into Real Madrid's home game against Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish league on Sunday.

Bellingham was on his own when he seemed to pick up the injury and quickly asked to be replaced. He immediately grabbed the back of his leg with his left hand before going to the ground. He received medical assistance and seemed emotional as he left the field on his own.

The England international was replaced by Brahim Díaz, who five minutes later assisted in Vinícius Júnior's goal that made it 1-0 for Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

A victory will move Madrid back within one point of league leader Barcelona, which won 3-1 at Elche on Saturday.

The 22-year-old Bellingham has scored one goal in his last seven matches with Madrid. He has six goals for the club this season.
