Los Angeles: Former U.S. President Donald Trump has stirred controversy by posting an AI-generated image of pop icon Taylor Swift seemingly endorsing him for the upcoming November election. The image, which appeared on Trump’s Truth Social account, depicted Swift in patriotic colors with the caption, "Taylor Swift Wants You To Vote For Donald Trump."
Although Swift has a history of supporting Democratic candidates, including President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in 2020, she has not publicly endorsed any candidate in the 2024 race. Trump’s post also included images of women wearing "Swifties for Trump" shirts and a satirical article suggesting that Swift’s fans are now supporting Trump after an ISIS-inspired attack was thwarted at one of her concerts.
Critics quickly pointed out that many of the images shared by Trump were deepfakes, raising concerns about the potential for misinformation in the election. Consumer advocacy groups and Swift’s fans have condemned the post as a misuse of AI technology that could have damaging consequences.
The Trump campaign defended the post, calling the "Swifties for Trump" movement "massive" and growing daily. However, Swift’s team has not commented on the incident.

New York/Washington (PTI): US President Donald Trump has repeated his claim of resolving the India-Pakistan conflict and asserted that Islamabad's leadership credited him for saving millions of lives.
"We stopped a potential nuclear war between Pakistan and India. And the head of Pakistan, a highly respected General, he's a Field Marshal and also the Prime Minister of Pakistan, said President Trump saved 10 million lives, maybe more...,” Trump said Monday.
He made these remarks at Mar-a-Lago, Florida, flanked by Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, Navy Secretary John Phelan, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
“You know, eight planes were shot down. That war was starting to rage, and he actually said the other day that President Trump saved 10 million lives, maybe more. So we solved all these wars. The only one I haven't solved yet is Russia, Ukraine,” he said.
