Death toll in southwestern China landslide rises to 39, with 5 people still missing

The death toll from a landslide in a remote, mountainous part of southwestern China rose to 39 on Thursday, while five people remained missing, Chinese state media reported.

Beijing/Nanchang: At least 39 people were killed, nine injured and some others still trapped in a building fire in east China's Jiangxi province on Wednesday, official media reported.
