Yousuf Deedat, leading Muslim scholar and activist, passed away at St Anne’s hospital at 14:40 pm this afternoon, Friday 17th January in South Africa. Deedat was fatally wounded on Wednesday when he was shot by an unknown gunman in Verulam. He was airlifted to hospital where his condition was critical.
