Bengaluru: City Police on Monday arrested seven people while they were dressed up as Ghost to scare people in a bid to shoot prank videos on Sharifnagar near Yashwanthpur in city.

The videos of the prank they youngsters shot scaring commuter and homeless residents at late night, went viral soon after their arrest.

The arrested youngsters have been identified as Shan Malik (2)), Naveed (20), Sajal Mohammed (21), Sakib (20), Sayed Nabeel (20), Yusuf Ahmed (20) and Mohammed Aquib (20) all residents of RT Nagar in Bengaluru.

According to the reports the group of youngsters was ulling pranks at 2:30 am dressed in white clothes with their faces covered with wigs.

After receiving complaint about the mischief police personnel reached the spot and arrested s\all seven members of the group.

Kolar: The voters of Basavanatta village on the outskirts of Kolar town watched with admiration as centurion Munivenkatappa walked with pride but without external support to the polling booth on Friday and exercised his franchise right at the age of 107 years.

Deputy Commissioner and District Returning Officer of Kolar Akram Pasha as well as the Assistant District Returning Officer Shankar Vanikyal also exercised their right to franchise during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections by casting their vote in Kolar on Friday morning.

Addressing reporters after voting at Booth No 103, the senior officers of the district called upon all eligible voters to also cast ballot to support the survival of democracy in India.
