Mangaluru: A private hospital located on the outskirts of the City in the Dakshina Kannada district has become Corona Hotspot. The total number of positive cases in the district has increased to 20 with two more persons testing positive to COVID-19 in the limits of Mangaluru Municipal Corporation on Monday.

A 57-year-old man died of COVID-19 in Kalaburagi on Monday taking the fatalities due to the virus in Karnataka to 20.

The members of Tableeghi Jamat members who had tested positive for the Corona Virus and decided and offered to donate their plasma to treat other COVID-19 patients after they got treated for the virus were lauded across social media platforms on Monday for their gesture.

Bengaluru: Karnatka on Monday reported nine new positive cases of Corona Virus in the State against the three cases that were reported on Sunday in the state. With this the total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the State has clombed up tp 512.

A total of 6,184 COVID-19 patients have recovered so far, taking the recovery rate in the country to 22.17 per cent, the Health Ministry said on Monday.
