CM change talks 'irrelevant', Siddaramaiah will complete 5 years: Cong leader

Senior Congress MLA and Chief Minister's Economic Advisor Basavaraj Rayareddy on Sunday termed speculations about CM change as "irrelevant", and asserted that incumbent Siddaramaiah, who was elected to the post by a majority of Congress legislators, will complete five years term.

 


23 lakh women voters deleted under SIR, mostly from closely fought 2020 seats: Cong

The Congress on Sunday claimed that the names of about 23 lakh women have been removed from the voter list in Bihar under the SIR with the bulk of them being from 59 assembly seats where a "close contest" was witnessed in the 2020 elections.
