Crescent moon of Holy Ramadan sighted in Saudi Arabia, Ramadan to begin from March 11
The crescent moon of Ramadan for the year 2024 was sighted in Saudi Arabia marking the beginning of Holy month of Ramadan in the kingdom from March 11.
The news was shared by official Twitter handle of the holy mosque of Mecca on Twitter formerly known as x stating that the Tara we prayers will begin in the two holy mosque after Isha prayers on March 10.
With this, Saudi Arabia government has officially announced the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan from March 11.

Two brothers drown while swimming in lake in Kolar district
Kolar: Two brothers died after drowning in a village lake near Paccharamakalahalli in Srinivaspur taluk of Kolar district.
The deceased have been identified as Narendra (25) and Chandan (23), residents of Champalli in Ronur hobli.
According to sources, the two had come to Paccharamakalahalli, which falls under the Lakshmipura Gram Panchayat limits, for manual labour work.
They reportedly entered the lake to swim and cool off from the intense afternoon heat but drowned in the water.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Rayalpad Police Station.
