Mangaluru: Mayor bans construction work in city after landslide tragedy

Mangaluru: Mayor Sudheer Shetty stated that Commissioner of the Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) had been advised to strictly implement a rule to ban all excavation and construction works in the municipal limits until September so as to avoid any potential disasters. The issue was brought to the notice of the DC too, he said. He was addressing the media persons at the Corporation on Wednesday.

The admins, identified as Aliza and Husna Parveen, reportedly convinced Vasudeva that Malhotra's life was in danger and solicited financial aid to help him.
