Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Congress spokesperson A.C Vinay Raj on Thursday challenged the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to have an debate over the development of the Dakshina Kannada constituency where it is being voted to power for last 28 years.

 The Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to field Hasmukh S Patel from Ahmedabad-East Lok Sabha constituency, thus replacing actor-politician Paresh Rawal. Patel was the BJP MLA in 2012 and in 2017.
