Absconding accused held at Ullal

Ullal police arrested an accused who was absconding from attending the court in several cases.

The arrested is identified as Mukhtar (24) of Bottu of Dharmanagar in Ullal. He was facing many cases including attempt to murder, assault and others at Ullal and Barke police stations.

6 of family commit suicide in Jharkhand

Six members of a family committed mass suicide in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district, police said on Sunday. The victims were Naresh Maheswari, a resident of the district's Munga Bagicha area, his parents, his wife and two of their children.
