Dubai: Fortune Group of Hotels, UAE; bagged the Best Company of the year 2018 – Hospitality and Leisure at India – UAE Business Summit and Awards.
Praveen Shetty, Chairman – Fortune Group of Hotels received the award for the Best Company of the year 2018 at a glittering ceremony in Atlantis, The Palm – Dubai. The award was presented by his Excellency Suhail Mohammad Al Zarooni in presence of other dignitaries and celebrity guests.
H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Saeed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Shri Vipul, Consulate General of India – Dubai, K.C. Tyagi (MP, Chief General Secretary and spokesperson, JDU), Sirkikonda Madhusudhana Chary (Speaker of Telangana Legislative Assembly), Sharad Tripathi (Member of Parliament), Gajendra Chauhan, (Ex-Chairman of FTII and Bollywood actor) and Rajpal Yadav (Bollywood Actor) besides several other successful business persons from UAE and India.
Hariom Tyagi, Editor-in-Chief at Observer Dawn, Magazine also launched a special issue of the magazine highlighting the growing relations of Indian and UAE business community.
Speaking at the occasion, Shetty said “India is the first trading partner for the UAE. Now both countries are seeking to increase innovation and entrepreneurship in sectors of mutual interest. The UAE-India relationship has entered a vibrant growth phase with bilateral trade on track to exceed $100 billion by 2020”
Meanwhile, he thanked the organizers of India-UAE Business Summit, Observer Dawn and Hot Entertainment and Media PVT LTD. for bestowing him and his company with this honor.
He also acknowledged the efforts and vision of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai for making Dubai a land of opportunities and giving the business community here a platform to grow and make new success stories.

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.
According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.
Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
