More than 250 organisations and civil society activists across 22 states have raised their voices against the proposed "Dharm Sansad" scheduled for December 19 in Uttar Pradesh. In an open letter to the President, the groups have urged the Central government to intervene and prevent the event, citing its involvement with individuals accused of hate speech and incitement to violence.
