Congress manifesto full of lies: PM Modi

Pasighat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday tore into the Congress, terming its manifesto as a "hypocrisy document" which was "full of lies".

New Delhi| Former UP Chief Minister and BSP chief Mayawati pointed out to Sardar Patel statue in her defence in Supreme Court. She was replying to a petition filed by lawyer Ravikant for spending crores of rupees on the construction of her idols. Mayawati in her affidavit said that her statues and monuments in Lucknow and Noida are a symbol of public sentiment. “Given my work and sacrifice for the deprived and oppressed community during my tenure as Chief Ministers and being a Dalit woman leader, the statues are a symbol of respect and public sentiment towards me,” said Mayawati.
