Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha, who is being accused of running propaganda to garner support and sympathy for Muslims through his upcoming film "Mulk", has hit out at trolls, saying the movie is not funded by either underworld kingpin Dawood Ibrahim, the Congress or the RSS, and neither is it about Hindus or Muslims.

Supreme Court seeks Centre's stand on plea to ban hoisting green flags

The Supreme Court on Monday sought the Centre's stand on a plea by a cleric seeking a ban on hoisting green flags with a crescent and star, terming it un-Islamic and resembling that of a Pakistani political party.

A bench of Justice A.K. Sikri and Justice Ashok Bhushan asked Additional Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Centre, to seek instructions from the government on the issue and posted it for hearing after two weeks.

Facebook has reportedly removed the official facebook page of postcard.news website, which is known for  spreading fake news. The official postcard.news page is not appearing on the social media from Sunday. A few Facebook users updated status as “the awareness created against fake news of postcard.news and complaints given to Facebook have brought a result.  Facebook has removed its page.
