Amit Shah warns border states to stay alert, act against anti-national propaganda, fake news

New Delhi: The Union Home Minister Amit Shah has called on border states to remain on high alert and fully prepared to handle any potential emergencies. Chairing a high-level video confenrence with Lieutenant Governors of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, the Chief Ministers of seven states, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal, and a representative from Sikkim, Shah also asked state and UT administrations to ensure continuity of essential services including healthcare, firefighting, and the steady supply of essential goods.

New Delhi: In a retaliatory move following the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed the lives of 26 civilians, the Indian Army reportedly carried out precision strikes on terror camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) using indigenously developed “suicide drones.”

New Delhi — As part of a broader national security initiative, the Government of India has directed all Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms, media streaming services, and intermediaries operating in the country to take down all content originating from Pakistan with immediate effect.
