Bus agent attacked with machetes in Suralpady
Mangaluru, Sep.24: A bus agent was attacked with machetes by bike borne unidentified assailants in Kaikamba-Gurukambala near Suralpady on Monday night around 8pm.
The victim has been identified as Harish Shetty, resident of Polali. A bus agent by profession Harish was the President of Prakanda Bajrang Dal, Gurupura unit.
It is reported that Harish was on his way to home on his two wheeler when miscreants arrived on another two wheeler and attacked him. As a result Harish sustained injuries on his head and hand.
He was rushed to a hospital. It is learnt that he is out of danger. Bajpe police visited the spot and inspected.

US–Iran first round direct talks conclude in Islamabad: Report

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.
According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.
Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
