International Pre Teen of the Year 2018 contest
Mangaluru, June 23: Mangaluru girl Ms Diya Ravi Kumar makes it to International Pre Teen of the Year contest in Bangkok International Miss Pre Teen Karnataka, India.
Ms Diya Ravi Kumar , IX Grade student of The Yenepoya School, Mangaluru, would be representing India at the International Pre Teen of the Year / Asia Pacific Prince & Princess 2018. The Grand Final will be held on 6th July 2018 at Bangkok, Thailand.
International Pre Teen of the Year / Asia Pacific Prince & Princess 2018 pageant was created as a platform for the kids to showcase their talents in a global forum.
The pageant aims to promote cultural exchange among the young kids by bringing them together from different parts of the globe on a common stage. The event will be spread over 12 days beginning 27 th June to 7 th July 2018.
Diya leaves the shores of Mangaluru on 25 th June 2018 to Bangkok as the Indian contender for the crown. It is a proud moment for Mangaluru and Karnataka and we wish Diya the very best for a successful tour.

US–Iran first round direct talks conclude in Islamabad: Report

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.
According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.
Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
