Cash and materials worth lakhs seized, 51 persons arrested
Mangaluru, June 24: The city police on Sunday raided a gambling den at a club in front of the KSRTC bus stand at Bejai in the city and took 51 persons into custody.
The police confiscated Rs 1,19,700 using for gambling and 40 mobile handsets from the accused. Urwa police station staff led by DCP Hanumantharaya and DCP Uma Prashanth under the guidance of Police Commissioner TR Suresh conducted the raid. Urwa police registered a case.

US–Iran first round direct talks conclude in Islamabad: Report

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.
According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.
Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
