Minister Khader asks DC to fix time for movement of heavy vehicles on Shiradi-Sampaje
Mangaluru, September 23: District Minister U.T. Khader directed the deputy commissioner to fix time for heavy vehicles for the smooth vehicular movement on Shiradi and Sampaje ghats.
Haphazard movement of heavy vehicles including buses would cause traffic congestion on both the roads in the ghat section. In order to avoid this, the district administration should prepare a time table after discussing the pros and cons in detail, he said.

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.
According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.
Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
