Udupi: 21-year-old student commits suicide after being scolded by father over studies
Udupi: A 21-year-old B.SC final year student committed suicide on Monday, August, 14, after being scolded by her father over her studies, here in Chitpadi in Udupi district.
The deceased girl has been identified as Ankita K Baliga, a resident of Hanuman Garage Road here.
It is reported that the dire step was taken in response to her father's scolding regarding her academic pursuits.

A case has been registered at local police station in this regard and further investigations are underway.
