The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, in association with BIT-ADVA, conducted AI Sparkathon 2025, a two-day hackathon on 1st and 2nd December 2025 at BIT Mangalore. 

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced that the State Government is ready to provide five acres of land to establish a branch of Kerala’s Shivagiri Mutt in either Udupi or Mangaluru.
