Mangaluru: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has raised a red alert for Coastal Karnataka, signaling the anticipation of severe rainfall in the region.

Kasargod: In response to the ongoing rainfall in the district, District Collector Inbasekar K has issued an official order announcing a holiday for schools on Wednesday, July 5.

Due to heavy rains in several parts of Dakshina Kannada, Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan has declared a holiday for schools and colleges in Mangaluru, Mulki, Ullal, Moodbidri and Bantwal taluks on July 4, Tuesday.
