Mardhaala: Car crashes into electricity pole, five gravely injured

In an accident on the Dharmasthala - Subrahmanya highway near Mardhaala in Kallaje on Tuesday, the driver of a car reportedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into an electricity pole, resulting in grievous injuries to five people.


Mangaluru: Allegations of adulterating petrol meant for aeroplanes; authorities seize two tankers

After receiving verified information regarding the adulteration of aeroplane fuel with kerosene and other chemicals in Baalaa near Surathkal, an officer of the Food and Civil Supplies Department and the police reportedly conducted a raid and seized two tankers and equipment including a pick-up.
