Mangaluru: Man falsely claims he was chased by men with swords in Ullal

The Mangaluru City Police Commissioner N. Shashikumar said that appropriate action would be taken against the individual who spread rumours about a sword attack. Reportedly, a man had claimed that he was chased by someone trying to attack him with a sword in the jurisdiction of the Ullal police station. 


Private Bus overturns at Moodabidri; Passengers escape with minor injuries

The driver of a private bus reportedly lost control of the vehicle on Wednesday morning resulting in the vehicle overturning in front of the Raghavendra Matt at Bannadka. Several of the passengers escaped the accident with minor injuries.
