Rubbishing the reports claiming that Mangaluru International Airport will be closed during monsoon season, the Airport's PRO confirmed to Vartha Bharati that there is no such proposal in place.

Mangaluru: The meteorological department has predicted that the heavy rains in Dakshina Kannada District for three more days. Dakshina Kannada on Saturday evening issued red-alert in the district for August 9 owing to heavy rain and has for now issued orange-alert on August 10, 11.
