Mangaluru Police firing: Case registered against Inspector Shantaram Kundar

Mangaluru: Taking strict note of a viral video wherein a Police Inspector who is allegedly said to Inspector of Kadri Police Station, Shantaram Kundar is seen saying “nobody died even after firing”, Haneef Katipalla, has filed a case against the Kundar at Bundar Police Station in the city on Wednesday.

 

 


BJP Minister B. Sriramulu bats for compensation to families of two killed in Mangaluru Police firing

Bengaluru: The politics over giving compensation to the families of two people who were killed in police firing in Mangaluru on December 19, is at the moment not stopping. It was triggered by CM Yediyurappa on Wednesday morning after he added the government will not release any compensation if the two are found to be accused and their involvement in the violence and clashes with police are proved.
