Mangaluru: Karnataka CM on Tuesday night asserted that there were forces who conspired the violence and clashes between police and the protesters that broke out in the city on December 19. He further added that the event were planned and executed systematically to trigger unrest in the region.

Mangaluru: Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) on Tuesday demanded strict action against Dr. PS Harsha Mangaluru Police Commissioner, and other officers of the department who are found guilty of letting the situation go out of hands on December 19, leading to violence and clashes between police and protesters in the city.

The Karnataka government has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act in Mangaluru last week, resulting in two deaths.
