Intensified seas due to heavy rain pose threat to residents in Ullal, Uchila and Someshwara

Owing to the heavy rain Coastal Karnataka has witnessed over the last few days, water level at Ullal, Uchila and Someshwara seas have increased significantly and waves have intensified, raising concerns for the local residents.


Charmadi Ghat closed for traffic due to heavy rain

Belthangady: In the backdrop of heavy rain that has been lashing Coastal Karnataka and adjoining parts, Charmadi Ghat that links Chikkamagaluru and Mangaluru has been closed for traffic and vehicular movement with immediate effect from Wednesday morning.
