In order to encourage and support marriage of financially backward Muslim women, the Abu Dhabi-based Bearys Welfare Forum (BWF) would conduct its 7th mass marriage at the Milagres auditorium here on February 16, 2019. The BWF would give 5 gram gold, cash to purchase marriage dress, gift to bridegroom and will also bear the marriage expenses.

Kasargod: An autorickshaw driver was killed and five students were injured when a truck collided with an autorickshaw carrying school children on Tuesday morning.

Mangaluru: A LPG gas tanker turned turtle when its driver lost control over the vehicle in Nanthoor Circle in the city on Wednesday morning. The driver, who was injured in the incident, has been admitted to a private hospital.
