Mangaluru: Prominent Doctor and Socio-Political leader Dr. U Ismail Manjeshwar passed away in the wee hours of Friday at his residence. He was 86. Hailing from Manjeshwar, Dr. Ismail was a resident of Valencia locality in Mangaluru.

Family Accepts wreckage pictures of Suvarna Tribhuja boat: Navy fails to give fishermen information

Udupi: The Indian Navy on Thursday released pictures of Suvarna Tribhuja -fishing vessel, which, with seven fishermen on board, went into the deep sea from Malpe harbour in Udupi district on December 13, 2018. On December 15, 2018, when the vessel was off Malvan, it lost contact with other fishing boats and harbour. Since then the vessel with seven crews is missing.
