Mangaluru: Renovated Mangala Swimming Pool, modern water purifying plant inaugurated

Mangaluru: Search for appropriate place to construct an international-level swimming pool is on. We are contemplating to conduct international-level swimming competitions soon after constructing the swimming pool, once we get fund and appropriate place, said district in-charge Minister UT Khader.


Kota double murder case: Police custody for two accused

Local police on Friday produced all the 16 arrested accused in the Chikkanakere double murder case before the Kundapura Additional JMFC Court which remanded 14 accused except Chandrashekar Reddy and Sujay of Kota (22) to judicial custody. Chandrashekar Reddy and Sujay who were arrested on February 14 were sent to police custody.
