Heggodu Prasanna nominated for ‘Mahatma Gandhi Seva Award’
Bengaluru: CM HD Kumaraswamy has announced that theater Director Heggodu Prasanna has been nominated for the Mahatma Gandhi Seva Award.
The committee chaired by the Supreme Court retired judge Justice Gopal Gowda has made this choice. While Journalist Hunasawadi Rajan and Gandhi Memorial Fund President Woody P. Krishna were the members of the Committee, Director of Information and Public Relations NR. Vishukumar was the secretary.
This award, which carries Rs. 5 lakh cash, will be given on October 2.

US–Iran first round direct talks conclude in Islamabad: Report

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.
According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.
Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
