Bengaluru, September 23: “Now, I don’t have any enemies within the party. Everything is okay. No one has intervened in the Belagavi issue. All confusions are cleared with the interference of the senior leaders”, said Belagavi MLA Lakshmi Hebbalkar.
Speaking at the Women unit logo releasing programme at the KPCC office here on Sunday, she said that the women wing members have been preparing for the Lok Sabha election. “Politics is not a stagnating water. It flows. I have elected as the MLA for the first time. But I will not stoop to low level of demanding ministerial berth. But I have appealed for the position if there is a chance. I hope that the party high command will identify my service and give responsibility. There are some confusions in the coalition government and I feel, it is not fair to demand ministerial berth. We, the ladies, are known for sacrifice and I hope I will get the position in future”, she clarified.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been lying due to which the people of the country are disappointed. He has not fulfilled any assurances. People will teach him a lesson in the Lok Sabha election”.
- Lakshmi Hebbalkar, MLA
