Rain wreaks havoc in Bengaluru; Hebbal Road turns into canal
Bengaluru: Several roads water-logged and vehicular movement was disrupted following the heavy rain that lashed the capital through Monday night. The traffic movement from the airport to Hebbal has been affected.
The road beneath the Hebbal flyover has turned into a canal. Vehicle riders are suffering as the rainwater is flowing on the road and several vehicles have been affected due to the intrusion of water.
The Pedestrian walkway near Navarang has collapsed. The quarters of the central tax and excise department staff in the BTM layout are flooded. The building has 196 houses and over 700 people have been affected. They are working hard to drain the water that enters the house.

US–Iran first round direct talks conclude in Islamabad: Report

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.
According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.
Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
