Spirited booze lovers throng stores as liquor sales resume in Karnataka

Booze lovers ushered in the resumption of liquor sales in a spirited fashion in Karnataka on Monday thronging stores hours before shutters went up at several places and made no secret of their celebratory mood.


These five districts in state considered 'single unit': No pass required for inter-district movement

Bengaluru: As the lockdown restrictions have been relaxed to a certain extent, Bengaluru City, Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Ramanagar, and Bengaluru rural are being considered as a single zone. There is no need to get a pass for traffic movement in these areas,” said TM Vijay Bhaskar, chief secretary of state government.
