Twenty-two new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Karnataka, taking the total number of infections in the state to 557, the Health department said on Thursday.

Three out of five Karnataka ministers, who reportedly came in contact with the COVID-19 positive video journalist of a Kannada news channel recently, on Wednesday said they have tested negative for the virus.

Tumkur: A 73-year-old man, who died of asthma and shortness of breath on April 26, has been tested positive to COVID-19. With this, the death toll has climbed to 21 in the state.
