Bengaluru: Karnataka reported over 5,000 COVID-19 cases for the eighth consecutive day on Friday, with 5,843 infections and also recorded 84 fatalities, taking the death toll to 2,314.

Bengaluru: Karnataka Government on Thursday ordered the cancellation of Sunday lockdowns across the state starting August 2. Earlier, the government had imposed lockdowns on every Sunday as a part of unlocking from COVID-19 lockdown in the state.
